Explore the playful and versatile world of gel plate printmaking with teaching artist Rebecca Pletsch. Using flexible gel printing plates, participants will experiment with layering colors, textures, and patterns to create vibrant, one-of-a-kind prints. Unlike traditional printmaking, gel plate printing requires no press—just imagination and exploration. Rebecca will introduce a variety of techniques, encouraging participants to experiment with various methods to achieve bold effects or subtle details. This process is fun, approachable, and endlessly adaptable, making it ideal for artists of all skill levels. Participants will leave with richly layered prints that can stand alone as artworks or be used in collage, card-making, mixed media, or book arts. All materials are provided, and no prior printmaking experience is needed. FREE & Open to the public. $20 suggested donation.
