In this intimate one-on-one tea ceremony, set within the serene atmosphere of Luis Alvaro Sahagún Nuño’s studio at Ogden Contemporary Arts, participants will engage in a sacred journey with Sahagún. The artist and participant will embark on a shared path of spiritual cleansing through a carefully orchestrated tea ritual. The selection of tea, chosen for its symbolic significance and healing properties, becomes a conduit for connection. As part of their spiritual journey, participants may choose to be included in Luis Sahagun's Limpia Portraits, capturing the essence of their cleansing experience in a visual representation of shared spirituality within the unique ambiance of the artist's studio. This experience is offered with a recommended fee of $100 a session. Sponsorships will be provided for participants based on need, ensuring accessibility for all, and is especially encouraging for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) folks to participate. ***Registration is required.
